I'm just trying out conrefs for use as variables.

In the DITA2Go OmnHelp output, the conref content is followed immediately by a new line (AKA line feed, carriage return, newline, line break -- for the benefit of anyone searching). This doesn't happen in the CHM output from the DITA-OT for the same files.

[EDIT] In the output from the DITATestSuite, in the topic conrefs.htm, the conref text is followed immediately by a p tag containing the closing period. I'd like to show the markup, but this is the best I can do:
